Behind the Letter: How We Write Every Personalised Message

August 2026

Every letter is different. Here's a look at the process behind writing a truly personalised letter from Father Christmas.

It starts with you

When you order, you tell us about your child. Their name, their age, what they've been up to this year — the kind things they've done, the things they love, the people they care about. This is the raw material of the letter.

No templates

We don't use a template with blanks filled in. Every letter is written from scratch, using the details you've shared. Father Christmas might mention your child's football team, their little sister, the time they helped their nan. These details are what make the letter feel real.

The parchment

We print on premium aged parchment paper — the kind that feels like it has history. It's thick, slightly textured, and warm in colour. When you hold it, it feels like something that matters.

The seal

Every letter is sealed with a gold wax stamp before it goes into the envelope. It's a small detail, but it's the kind of detail that children notice and remember.

The envelope

Deep red, addressed by hand, with a Lapland postmark. The envelope is the first thing your child sees. We want it to feel like something extraordinary has arrived.
